| Summary of thesis | My thesis will explore how young people experience death and grief, as well as the role played by community social work in supporting them. It seeks to understand how these spaces become places for expression, support, and collective coping with grief. The research focuses on the practices of professionals working with bereaved youth. It will also give young people a voice to capture their experiences, perceptions and needs in the face of death. Conducted in Valais Romand using a qualitative and inductive socio-anthropological approach, it will contribute to a better understanding of the place of death and grief in the social spaces frequented by young people. |
