Summary of thesis

The aim of this work is to contribute to a better understanding of the temporal mechanisms shaping collective action for sustainable development and thus contributing to theory building within the grand challenges discourse. The longitudinal field study within the energy transformation sector in Germany encompasses ethnographic, interview and archival data looking at the research question: how do heterogenous actors use temporal resources to act collectively in a crises context for sustainable development?
