Participation in chaplaincy care for refugees

My thesis is part of an SNF Project on "Praktiken sozialer Partizipation und islamische Sozialethik (PSOPIS)». In my sub-project, I deal with the role and interactions of Muslim chaplains in federal asylum centres (BAZ) and locate them in the context of the asylum system and asylum debates. Based on my empirical research results, I will develop a typology of forms of participation that also includes critical positioning. I'll use qualitative research methods as interviews and participant observation.
