Summary of thesis

Drawing on feminist STS scholarship and New Kinship Studies, this dissertation contributes to the social study of assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs) and nature/culture relations by exploring the "question of age" in reproduction. By following the relations between age/aging and ARTs in the science of infertility, the experiences of women undergoing ARTs treatment and the biopolitics of the medical extension of fertility in Switzerland, it explore several facets of the “traffic” between the reproductive and anti-aging sociotechnical projects and show how multiple natures of age result from it.
